Colorado Lenders website prototype

Overview

Colorado Lenders, a local mortgage company competing with larger banks and national lenders, needed a single-page website that displayed live rates, allowed quick lead qualification, and clearly explained their loan products.

Design

The prototype was created in Adobe XD as a single-page scrolling layout featuring several interactive parts.

The hero section began with a zip code input and a "Get Started" call to action, quickly guiding visitors into the funnel upon landing. Beneath that, a live rates area showed up-to-date figures for Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA loans, including their APRs, with a level of transparency that sets a local lender apart from larger, less transparent banks.

A mortgage calculator allowed visitors to enter their loan amount, down payment, interest rate, and amortization period to instantly see an estimated monthly payment. Below it, a pre-approval form gathered essential details for a loan officer's follow-up.

The loan products section used an orange, textured background to visually separate the areas, with icon-based cards describing Conventional, VA/FHA, and Jumbo loans side by side. The refinance section at the bottom featured a Colorado mountain landscape as a background, subtly underscoring the brand's local focus.

Outcome

A fully interactive single-page prototype ready for developer handoff, covering the complete borrower journey from rate discovery to pre-approval submission.
