Overview

ULFbuilt is a general contractor in Vail Valley focusing on custom homes, remodeling, and commercial projects. They required a website that highlighted their portfolio photography in a way that feels unique, not like a typical contractor site.

Design

The layout emphasized project photography, with full-bleed images dominating the homepage's visual focus. Each service — custom homes, remodeling, commercial — had its own scrolling section with an Explore prompt, creating a smooth flow from initial impression to inquiry. The color palette remained neutral to highlight the work, while the ULFbuilt logo’s bold two-tone type added personality, allowing the rest of the design to stay unobtrusive. The About page adopted a different tone, highlighting the team photo and emphasizing the company's people-first culture. The contact page featured a high-quality bathroom detail shot as a background, maintaining visual consistency even on a functionally simple page.

A photography-focused website that showcases ULFbuilt's project work, serving clients across Vail, Edwards, Aspen, Steamboat, and Breckenridge.
